CopyCat Arby’s Mozzarella Sticks
Ingredients
12 mozzarella string cheese sticks, Cut in half
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with a mix of Italian breadcrumbs, panko, garlic powder, and pepper.
Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb step for a second layer.
Place breaded sticks on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 1 hour. This keeps the cheese from melting too fast when cooking.
Air Fryer: Preheat to 390°F, spray sticks with oil, and air fry for 5–7 minutes until golden.
Deep Fryer: Heat oil to 350°F and fry for 1–2 minutes until crisp.
Oven: Bake at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway. Spray with oil for best results.
