CopyCat Cracker Barrel Bacon & Cheddar Quiche
Ingredients
1 9- inch pie crust , store-bought or homemade
6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and chopped
1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup whole milk
4 large eggs
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional, but recommended
Directions
Preheat Oven to 375°F (190°C). Place your pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp edges as desired.
Precook Bacon until crispy, then chop. Drain on paper towels.
Layer the Cheese and Bacon into the pie crust evenly.
Whisk Together Eggs, Cream, Milk, and Seasonings in a medium bowl until fully combined.
Pour Egg Mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
Cool Slightly, then slice and serve warm!
