CopyCat Red Robin Air Fryer Mike’s Hot Honey Chicken

Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts , or boneless, skinless chicken thighs (pounded evenly)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
2 large eggs, beaten
6 slices pepper jack cheese, optional
6 dill pickle slices, optional
6 brioche buns, or potato sandwich buns
2 tablespoons Mike’s Hot Honey, or to taste

Directions

Pat chicken dry and pound to even thickness for even cooking.

Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in one bowl. Place beaten eggs in another.

Dip each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then back in flour to coat well.

Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Lightly spray both sides of chicken with oil and place in the basket. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

In the last 1–2 minutes, add a slice of cheese on top of each chicken breast to melt.

Optional—place buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted.

Place chicken on bottom bun, top with pickles and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. Add the top bun and serve hot.
