CopyCat Texas Roadhouse Legendary Margarita

Ingredients

Fresh Lime Mix (makes ~3 margaritas):
1 cup fresh lime juice, about 8–10 limes
3 tablespoons agave nectar, adjust to taste
½ teaspoon orange extract, or 1 oz orange liqueur

Per Margarita:
¾ oz silver, blanco tequila
¾ oz reposado tequila
¾ oz añejo tequila
¾ oz Grand Marnier
2 ½ oz fresh lime mix
Black lava salt, or coarse sea/kosher salt, for the rim
Lime wedge, for rimming and garnish

Combine the fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and orange extract in a jar. Seal and shake to combine; set aside.

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip it into black lava salt.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the silver, reposado, and añejo tequilas, Grand Marnier, and 2 ½ oz of the lime mix.

Shake well until cold and frosty, about 10 seconds.

Add fresh ice to the salted glass, then strain or pour the margarita over the ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
