CopyCat Texas Roadhouse Steak Sauce

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Butter
1 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
1 cup Beef Stock
1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
1/2 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Apple Butter
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Distilled White Vinegar
1 tablespoon Lime Juice
1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
1 tablespoon Corn Syrup
1/2 teaspoon Anchovy Paste

Directions

In a medium saucepan, mix together butter, all-purpose flour, beef stock, minced garlic, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, apple butter, soy sauce, distilled white vinegar, lime juice, tomato paste, corn syrup, and anchovy paste.

Heat the saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture begins to thicken and come together, about 10-15 minutes.

Once thickened, reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes to meld the flavors.

Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly. Serve warm as a delicious accompaniment to your favorite steaks!
