CopyCat McDonald’s Air Fryer Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel
Ingredients
2 steak slices, preferably sirloin or ribeye, thinly cut
2 large eggs
2 slices American cheese
2 bagels
2 tablespoon butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil, for steak marination
1 teaspoon steak seasoning , or your preferred seasoning
Directions
Combine olive oil, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Generously coat the steak slices with this mixture, allowing them to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F. Arrange the marinated steak slices in the air fryer basket and cook for approximately 7 minutes, remembering to flip them halfway through for a medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
Spread a layer of butter on both sides of the bagels, then place them in the air fryer for about 2-3 minutes or until they achieve a delightful golden brown color.
In a non-stick skillet set over medium heat, gently crack the eggs and season them with salt and pepper. Fry the eggs to your preference, whether sunny-side up or over-easy.
Lay a slice of cheese onto one half of each toasted bagel, followed by the steak slice and then the fried egg. Top it off with the other half of the bagel.
