Ingredients
1 pound ground beef, 80/20 blend recommended
Salt and pepper to taste
8 hamburger bun
8 slices American cheese
8 slices lettuce
16 slices tomato
8 slices jalapeño, optional
8 slices red onion
1 tablespoon mayonnaise, optional
Directions
Shape ground beef into a square patty to mimic the Wendy’s style. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the hamburger patties in the air fryer for approximately 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking times may vary based on the thickness and type of patties, so monitoring them closely is essential.
Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun. Layer with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion slices.
Spread ketchup and mayo on the top bun for the classic Wendy’s. Place the top bun on the burger, press lightly, and enjoy!
