CopyCat Zaxby’s Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries
Ingredients
1 bag frozen crinkle-cut fries + seasoning salt
3-4 chicken tenderloins, breaded and fried, then chopped
4-6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese blend *
Sauce:
1/2 cup creamy buttermilk ranch dressing
Optional: Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish.
Directions
Preheat oven or air fryer. Cook crinkle-cut fries according to package directions until golden and crispy.
Season with seasoned salt (like Lawry’s) on the fries immediately after they come out of the oil for a true Zaxby’s taste.
While fries cook, fry or bake chicken tenders. Cook bacon until crisp and chop into pieces.
On a baking sheet or skillet, spread the fries. Cover with shredded cheddar jack cheese. Bake at 400F for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top the cheesy fries with chopped fried chicken and crispy bacon. Drizzle generously with ranch dressing and garnish with green onions if desired. Add a drizzle of Zax sauce or Sriracha for an extra kick.
* A blend of Monterrey Jack and Cheddar is crucial for that classic, creamy melted texture.
