CopyCat Panda Express Air Fryer Chili Crisp Shrimp
Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails removed
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs, preferably panko
2 tablespoon chili crisp sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
Directions
Pat the 1 pound shrimp dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Toss the shrimp in the mixture until evenly coated. After the shrimp is coated in the flour mixture, dip them into the 1/2 cup breadcrumbs pressing gently to ensure they’re well-covered.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the tops with oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
In a small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoon chili crisp sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, minced 1 clove garlic, and 1 tablespoon lime juice Stir to mix well.
Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a bowl and toss with the chili crisp sauce until evenly coated.
Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as rice.
