CopyCat Cracker Barrel Air Fryer Egg in a Basket
Ingredients
1 slice bread
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C). Spray an air fryer-safe pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Place a 1 slice bread in the pan. Use a cup or cookie cutter to create a hole in the center of the bread. Remove the cut-out piece.
Crack 1 large egg directly into the hole in the bread.
Air fry for 5-7 minutes, depending on your preferred egg doneness. Cook for a shorter time for a runny yolk or longer for a fully cooked yolk.
Carefully remove the bread from the air fryer. Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or your favorite spices.
Serve hot and enjoy a crispy, golden breakfast treat!
