CopyCat Red Lobster Sangria
Ingredients
4 cups Red wine, Merlot or Zinfandel
1 cup Brandy
1 cup Orange Juice
1 1/2 cup Lemon-lime soda, or sparkling water
2 cups Fresh fruit, oranges, lemons, limes, berries, total, sliced or whole berries
1/4 cup Simple syrup , or sugar, adjust to taste
Ice , enough to fill glasses or serve chilled
Directions
Slice your oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Hull and halve your berries. The more fresh fruit you add, the more vibrant your sangria will taste.
In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
Toss in the sliced citrus and berries. Let the mixture chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours — the longer, the better, so the flavors meld beautifully.
Just before serving, add the lemon-lime soda or sparkling water to give it a lively, bubbly finish. Stir gently.
Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with extra fruit slices if you want to get fancy.
